Clinico-demographic Characteristics, Associated Anomalies and Treatment Profiles of Children presented with Undescended Testis at Medical University of Bangladesh

Background: The most common paediatric disorder among boy is undescended testis (UDT) which usually identified during birth and these patients require proper treatment at the appropriate time due to increased risk of torsion, infertility, testicular cancer associated inguinal hernia(>90%) as well for cosmetic purposes.
 Objective: purpose this study was determine side, palpability, age presentation, anomalies plan in our institution.
 Methodology: This retrospective carried out department Paediatric Surgery Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh from January 2017 June 2019.
 Results: In 1.08% (213 children had UDT total outdoor 19803 patients) boys UDT. They were aged 7 months 15 years (mean 5.61±3.81 years) presentation. Only 16 (7.5%) presented within 1 study. 51.8% >1yrs-5yrs. > 5yrs-10yrs 33.5% cases 13.6% late 10yrs yrs. Unilateral found 184 (86.4%) bilateral 29(13.6%) patients. Right- sided unilateral 112(52.6%) patients, left -sided 72 (33.8%) Palpable 178(83.6%) non-palpable 35(16.4%) Associated seen 64(30%) Hypospaedias 19(08%) intersex disorders (07%) Orchidopexy done 192(90.1%) orchidectomy only 4(1.9%) cases. No in17 (08%) cases.
 Conclusion: one commonest group. Very important issue early diagnosis anomaly. To treat help optimize function, earlier malignancy, give benefits prevent complications such a clinical hernia or torsion.
